Take I-684 north toBrewster. Do not exit. 684 becomes Rte. 22. Follow Rte. 22, through 4 traffic lights, 1 blinker. At fifth light,(approx. 5 mi.) turn right onto Haviland Hollow Road.Follow to end. Turn left onto Rte. 37. Follow forseveral miles. It will merge with Rte. 39 in Sherman Center. Stay straight. Take I-84 east to Danbury. Take exit #6 North Street. At ramp end turn right. At traffic light bear to the left onto Padanaram Road. Follow this for
several miles. It will take you to New Fairfield Center.At light, turn right onto Rte 39. Follow this for several miles. It will merge with Rte. 37 (at stop sign)
in Sherman Center. Go over small bridge and the Sherman Historical Society is the second white house on the left. Driveway is past the house, marked "enter." Swing around and park.

Take I-84 to exit#7.This is a highway extension. Follow to the end. At light
turn right onto Rte 7 north (Federal Road). Drive north for several miles into town of New Milford. Pass by steel bridge on right (which goes to the Center Green of New Milford) and a few miles more, pass another silver bridge on right (Boardman Bridge) and 1/4 mile further on left is Rte. 37. Turn onto Rte. 37, follow through traffic light. Pass school on left and around bend, the Historical Society is the 4th house on right. The driveway is before the house, marked "enter." Swing around and park.
